Why we care

We don’t believe you can be beautiful if you leave a dirty footprint behind you. As passionate believers in Scandinavian values, friluftsliv is in our blood: we prize our wild places and rejoice in untrammelled hiking paths, towering fjords, clear blue seas and plastic-free beaches. So how could we knowingly create products that cause harm to the things we love the most?

As a leader in B Beauty, the B Corp Beauty Coalition, we meet the highest standards of social and environmental impact and are committed to working together to deliver beauty for good.

Scandinavian sourcing & production



Our entire personal care collection is made in Sweden. Our candle wax comes from Swedish rapeseed oil. Our packaging is made in Denmark, FSC-certified, and mostly sourced from managed Swedish forests, where 2 trees are planted for every 1 felled.

Vegan & cruelty-free


Our entire collection uses no animal ingredients and is never tested on animals, whether before, during or after production, anywhere in the world. Simple as that.

Responsible fragrances


We combine natural essential oils with safe synthetic ingredients to create unique fragrance impressions of Scandinavia, which never require fragrance safety warnings.

More organic ingredients


Organic ingredients are better for soil and skin, so our personal care collection contains higher dosages of certified organic ingredients.

Home fragrances that last


Our candle wax comes from Swedish rapeseed oil that is traceable, sustainably farmed, non-GMO and with longer burn times. Our new diffusers come with high-performance reeds, and a safer, non-alcohol, plant base. 

Lighter footprint packaging


We use post-consumer recycled aluminium tubes for our hand creams because metal is the most recycled material on earth. Our 500 ml pump bottles are made from recyclable plastics. All our beechwood and packaging card is FSC-certified.

Expanding our refill solutions


We now provide refills for candles, diffusers and a wash, helping customers enjoy their favourite fragrances time and again, and leaving their own lighter footprint.

Design for keeps


We create design pieces that can be enjoyed long after the fragrance is finished. Our candle glass and beechwood lid are ideal with tealights or for storing herbs in the kitchen. Our new scent diffusers come in a taller, transparent glass with screw cap, making them ideal for continual reuse, such as a vase for wildflowers.

We are legally required to consider the impact of all our decisions on our people, our customers, our suppliers, our community and our planet. It is the highest level of independent company certification in the world, and a global movement of people using business as a force for good. Skandinavisk has been certified as a B Corp since 2019 and is one of the founding members of the B Corp Beauty Coalition.
